Ok after planning permission, we’ve now dug the 40m trenches for the water and electricity. United Utilities have said the trench is deep enough and the terminations are OK. The environmental consultants have confirmed the land isn’t contaminated (with dead cows or polonium). Now just waiting for them to connect us up. We’ll just see how long it takes monopoly providers to do so!
