The former
Laminates cut from 13″ wide planks of Iroko 3″ thick 15’long on a 16″ table saw with roll on / off and a feeder. Then fed through thicknesser to reach 5.5mm thick and bundled into groups of 11
Test run
Glued up and clamped using resourcinol
The gluing tables 18′ long, needing four+ people to glue up to keep within the 50 minute glue open time
The laser cut legs, ready to be welded up, these are the parts for one leg.
Leg fitting prior to galvanising. Using 8mm machine screws. Screwed into brass inserts within the wood spirals inserted from above and then plugged
